Just after my last post I read a news story that the Oxford Dictionary folks had proclaimed “selfie” as the 2013 Word of the Year.

A selfie is a picture someone takes of them self using their smartphone or tablet.

This is my point about social media. The definition of socializing is changing probably forever. We used to do it as part of a group. Now it’s done by individuals acting alone.

By the way, can anyone remember the last time they used a dictionary?
