A message to managers of cashiers and servers

Please teach your staff to think for themselves. Examples:

If I am paying for a number of small items don’t ask me if I would like a bag. Of course I need a bag. How do you expect me to carry a bunch of loose items. And no, I do not need help out to my car with my purchases.

If I have enjoyed my meal in a restaurant so much that I have finished everything on my plate, don’t ask me “are you done with that”. Isn’t that obvious?

Staff who act like mindless robots are not good for your business. If they really don’t care I wonder why should I?
