Books for Dummies

A book search on Amazon revealed something I found to be quite insightful. There are 2179 Dummies book titles now in print! From Ukulele for Dummies to Windows for Dummies, chances are you can find a subject that you want to know more about.

I get it. These books serve a purpose. And when you’re done learning, supposedly you’re no longer a dummy.

For sure the smart ones here are the creators of the Dummy series idea. I wonder though if the extent of the library is just another sign of the increasingly dumbing down of our society?

About Murray Hill

I am a proud Canadian that wonders around. A lot!
