Getting Things Done

Whether at work or in your personal life, here is a very doable suggestion to help you get things done.

1. Make an appointment with yourself for that task
2. Keep that appointment, no matter what
3. Turn off all incoming distractions
4. Resist all outgoing distractions
5. Get it done

Stop thinking there isn’t enough time in the day. There’s plenty of time if you choose to manage it. By the way, the bonus is that when you focus like this it actually takes less time to finish what you are doing than you originally thought enabling you to get more done or have more time to do nothing.

And here is the biggest tip of all. Wake up earlier than everyone else and beat the rush. Do that once a week and see what happens!
