Going forward

As we plan for the future, prepare for what’s ahead, work to improve, think of what there is to do, and otherwise keep going, can we please, please, please, pretty please, stop using this relatively new phrase “going forward” or its friend “moving forward”!

Other than I think it’s a lazy way of speaking, because it says nothing about intentions, it just makes me nuts. So please, in your next interview or speech, refrain from using this useless expression.
