It’s been suggested by many experts as a tactic to achieve a goal, place a picture of what you want in a place where it is a constant reminder of that goal. This positive reinforcement is supposed to enable you to see your goal making it more likely you’ll get what you want.

If that doesn’t work for you, try this. Find a picture that represents something you don’t want to have (or be) and put that in a place you will see all the time.

Here is an example. If you are concerned about your health and how you look you need to make some lifestyle changes. Of course one way of doing that is to eat better. More healthy choices in smaller portions is a good start!
To help, why not put a picture of an out of shape and over weight person on the door of your fridge or pantry? I think this reminder of what you don’t want to become can be even more motivational than a picture of a buff and toned person.

Negative or positive reinforcement? If one isn’t working for you why not try the other!

Tip: if you want to find a picture, of anything, just use Google Images, and do a search and you will have more choices than you know what to do with.
