No, I’m not talking about smart phone technology. I’m talking about new cars.
There is a lot of noise (new geek term) lately about cars that can drive themselves, parallel park themselves and more. The latest story is about wi-fi technology that can anticipate sudden movement and make the car react by moving over, braking, etc.
These are good ideas if they can help to prevent accidents and save lives. What’s being overlooked if not completely ignored in the race to have a smartest car is that a car already comes equipped with the planets most powerful computer….the driver’s brain.
If we chose to properly train and teach all drivers of any kind of vehicle the need for robot cars would be much less. I guess it’s easier to buy a skill than learn it?
