TED is the acronym for Technology, Entertainment and Design. This organization hosts thousands of TED talks from world experts in most any subject you can think of. Their talks from TED events held around the world are recorded and the videos are then made available on the TED web site.

The talks are categorized by either subject or a by what you may be looking for at a particular moment, from courageous to ingenious to inspiring.

The maximum time allowed for any TED talk is 20 minutes and many talks are less than 10 minutes. It’s an incredible way to learn and/or be entertained so I encourage any one to visit the website at http://www.ted.com or download the app.

A word of caution. Once you get a sense of the value and the number of the stories that are available, you will find TED to be quite addicting.
