A Humbling Experience

This week I had a birthday. No big deal. And I was not feeling very celebratory as this was my first birthday without my dad. Yes there was some good times were shared with my family but the big lift came from a source we often don’t realize is even there.

What would life be like without friends. Close or distant it doesn’t matter. When warm birthday greetings come in such great numbers they all came from people who are basically saying they care about me (my appreciation for social media is up considerably). I don’t feel deserving of such recognition from so many. I just want anyone reading this post on this tiny blog how much it meant to me and how grateful I am I am I have so many wonderful friends in my life. Thank you!
