If we can teach ourselves to stop and think instead of continually barging ahead because we are so busy, we might actually accomplish more.
Recently, I forced myself to sit and focus on a task. All I did was block off some time and gave the problem the attention it deserved. No distractions allowed. The results were amazing given the short amount of time spent and the detailed results that came with the effort. The time now being given to the work on the project is focused and strategic. And the results are hugely improved.
Because of the many benefits of my random work stoppage, to just stop and think, means a regularly scheduled appointment with myself is now in the calendar! Could be the best appointment of the week!
