Dining On A Timer

One of the things I look forward to the most when going out for dinner with friends is knowing that I am going to get a chance to wind down and relax. Good conversation, good food, a glass of wine, it’s all part of the package. For me, this is entertainment that can get rid of tension and stress.
Unless, when you think your server is being really attentive and it turns out what they are really doing is trying to turn over the table as quickly as possible. And when asked he freely admits that “normally we allow two hours per seating”. Then the glances and stern looks start indicating time is up.
I wonder how long a business can last by relying solely on new customers because they have lost their valuable regular customers? Bonfire Bistro should tell their table police to turn down the heat!
