Good news! Blue Monday does not exist. A part-time lecturer working at a British university was paid by a travel agency wanting to sell holiday tours, to support a concocted idea called Blue Monday. The formula created by this “mood expert” was quickly refuted by his own university and the arbitrary designation was called “corrosive, meaningless and empty nonsense” by a British science writer.
Then why am I feeling so blue on this cold, windy and snowy Monday in January?
