When Ellis Jacob, the CEO of Cineplex theatres was describing their roll out of mobile ticket purchasing (a great idea!) he mentioned they have been offering web ticketing for some time. The example he gave was that people could reserve their seats for performances at the Metropolitan Opera in New York where he states, draw “a different audience” than movie theatres. Who would of thought that!
