Customer Rewarded

A national satellite TV provider had a customer for 11years, who never missed a monthly payment and every bill paid in full. The customer decides to change providers to the local phone company TV service. When canceling the satellite service, the customer is told “you should have told us you were considering making a change because we would have given you a year for free”.

I wonder why they don’t recognize good paying customers with an offer to thank them for their loyalty as part of a loyalty program? They don’t have to promote it, just do it without being asked and the goodwill will more than pay for the reward. As it is now, they will take your money and take you for granted!!
