I just had to write those words for the title of this post. Who would have ever thought it possible that in 2 1/2 years our little burg will be in the global spotlight. The reason? The Canadian Museum for Human Rights. Here is a link for 32 renderings of the finished product. Architecturally it is unique but it will be it’s contents that will bring people from all over the world to our city and province. All of them spending money here while they stay and visit, bringing in revenues we have never before experienced. It will also draw attention for property development and new business not to mention the positive spinoff that we will get as being the host city for the discussion of something so important in everyone’s lives.
